Time in Nature Commitment
You likely understand how vital being outside is to your well-being. Nature has a calming effect on the body, reducing stress and anxiety. These negative emotions are common during the menopause transition as well as depression, which can be debilitating.
Spending time in nature improves sleep, keeps you moving, boosts your immune system, and inspires creativity due to increased oxygen to your brain. It’s also that time to unplug from the outside world so you can nourish your body, mind, and soul.

Our Mother Earth has given us a beautiful planet. Many don’t see it because of overbooked lives with non-essential, overwhelming tasks that’ll be there tomorrow, or weren’t important in the first place.
The birth of wildlife, the playfulness of young animals, the changing leaves, or the first snow can be an exciting experience. The gardens, yards, and parks are transitioning into another growth phase at the moment, just like you.

No matter the season, it’s always a wonderful time to experience Mother Nature as she evolves. So, let’s begin together today.

How to Get Started
Step 1. Choose your time to begin. The commitment challenge can undoubtedly begin at any time. Your focus is on consistency for a month, making it easier to observe the health benefits and incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle habits.
Step 2. Share your plan with family and friends. As with many habits, it’s easier to form them by saying them out loud to others or by having them join you as accountability partners. Schedule outdoor activities together, such as hikes, bike rides, and road trips to parks you love or to new ones.
Step 3. Download your Time for Nature Wellness Workbook. The workbook is made to support your commitment. It includes a brief assessment of your current time in nature and your emotional management.
You’ll find mix-and-match ideas for outdoor activities and a planning section for each day of the week.
